Springside Inn, a historic and beautiful inn located near Owasco lake, and voted BEST OF THE REGION, is hiring a FT Banquet Chef to join our team. We seek a talented culinary professional with a passion for creativity and to develop new menu items and specials. To qualify, you must

• have the ability to work effectively with a team while maintaining our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction .
• be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and
• have proven banquet experience of serving 25-300 people at a time.
• be a strong leader, and be able to train, coach and motivate other cooking staff to perform well as a team.
• must be able to determine food costs, as well as monitor labor margins to keep within budgets.
• assist chefs in the areas of cooking, production, quality control, and sanitation when needed.
• Attention to detail, food storage and organizational skills are required
• HS diploma or equivalent is required; Formal Culinary education /certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years prior cooking experience to include strong banquet experience is required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
